Rainbows & Sunsets

I went up to Tantalus tonight waiting for the sun to set.

 While I waited, a rain cloud came over the mountains and moved down the valley.

 I watched as the arc of the rainbow grew larger.

 When I looked behind me I was able to get this beautiful shot of the double rainbow.

Finally the sun reaches the horizon.  A beautiful view from Diamond Head to downtown Honolulu.

Surfing with Hawaiian Fire

It was great to get out again with the guys & gals from Hawaiian Fire Surf School on Oahu.  We had a great time and will get out again before the end of our trip.  I can't suggest a better group of people to go out and learn to surf with than the folks at Hawaiian Fire.  If you are on Oahu, definitely look them up and go out for a great time!

Bear Country

It's been a busy time since the last post.  We just returned from a trip to B.C. in search of Grizzly Bears and we weren't disappointed.  The found the bears were still feeding on the remaining salmon that had spawned although most of the salmon were already dead.  These are a few shots of some of the bears we watched and photographed.  Images will be added to our website very soon and will be available to order as prints.
